BeIn Legal X ETPL (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Ethylens (“the Service”). This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

- Information you provide: account details (name, work email, role), workspace configuration, and content you upload (compliance answers, documents, remarks).
- Information collected automatically: log data, device and browser metadata, IP address, and usage events. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and product analytics.
- Information from third parties: identity providers (SSO), payment processors, and integrated services you authorize.
2. How we use data
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate users and protect against fraud or abuse.
- To communicate about the Service, including updates and security notices.
- To meet legal obligations, including audit, tax, and regulatory requirements.
3. Legal bases
For users in jurisdictions where applicable (such as the EU, UK, and India), we process personal data on the bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent, as appropriate.
4. Sharing data
We share personal data only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under written agreements (hosting, storage, analytics, support).
- Your organization, including admins, reviewers, and approvers in your workspace, in line with role-based access.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your workspace is active and as required by law. On request and subject to legal hold, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, signed URLs for evidence storage, and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we aim to be diligent.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@beinlegal.com.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
